Yes, that is what I think too. It must be the climate here that makes belt life so short, cold winters (below 0 C) and humid autumns and spring is quite usual. I 've tensioned the belt correctly, I think, and I never used any kind of lubricants. My riding style is quite moderate, no exaggerations whatsoever. Both times I bought original SUZUKI belts.
Has anyone tried to mount a chain on a Savage, anyway? Would anybody recommend this?
